At Grand IT Tech, quality is not an afterthought – it is the foundation of every order we fulfill. Before any refurbished or OEM component leaves our facility in Hong Kong, it goes through a strict, multi-stage inspection and testing process.

Our Testing Process

Every refurbished and OEM part we ship undergoes the following five-stage quality check:

1. Visual Inspection

   Each component is thoroughly examined for physical damage, corrosion, bent pins, and interface integrity. Items showing signs of irreparable wear are rejected at this stage.

2. Functional Testing

   Components are powered on and tested under real operating conditions to verify core functionality. Hard drives, SSDs, RAM modules, CPUs, and network cards are each tested using industry-standard diagnostic tools.

3. Performance Burn-in Test

   Sustained load testing is applied to detect latent failures. This step is critical for identifying components that pass initial tests but may fail under prolonged operation.

4. Firmware and Compatibility Check

   Firmware versions are verified and updated where applicable. Compatibility with target platforms (HPE, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, etc.) is confirmed before clearance.

5. Cleaning and Anti-Static Packaging

   Passed components are professionally cleaned, labeled, and packed with anti-static protection to ensure safe transit from Hong Kong to your destination.
